Once you have created your assistant, you may want to display it within your Brightspace (D2L) learning management system for students and instructors.

Javascript injection

1. Navigate to the Publish tab in your LearnWise dashboard. Scroll to Channels & select Brightspace

1. Download or copy/paste the Javascript and save as a JS file

1. Login to your Brightspace learning management system with an admin role
2. Click on the Admin Tools icon in the top right corner of the Brightspace navigation menu
3. Locate Javascript Management in the Admin Tools drop-down menu and click to open the page

1. On the JavaScript Management page, click on Import Module

   

2. In the Import Module popup window, you will be asked for:

   1. Module name - we suggest something like “LearnWise Launcher”.
   2. File Upload - This is where you upload the LearnWise script as a .js file

   

3. Click Add to finish adding the new JavaScript module

4. Back on the JavaScript Management page, the new module is disabled by default. So find the relevant module on the list and use the toggle to change the setting to Enabled

Now you have successfully added LearnWise to Brightspace! Congratulations 🎉
