Once you have created your assistant, you may want to display it within your Canvas learning management system for students and instructors.

Add JS file to your Theme Editor

  1. Navigate to the publish step in your LearnWise admin dashboard. Scroll to Channels and click on Canvas

  1. Download or copy and paste the Javascript

  1. Save the LearnWise script above as a new Javascript file (.js)
  2. Log into your Canvas LMS environment as an admin user.
  3. Click on Admin on the left main navigation bar and click the relevant ‘Account’.
  4. Click on Themes in the secondary left-side navigation.

  1. Hover over your current theme and click Open in Theme Editor.
    1. Optionally, you could also choose to create a new theme.
  2. In the Theme Editor, select the Upload tab.

  1. Locate the input for “JavaScript File”.

  1. Click the Select button and upload the JS file that you downloaded from LearnWise.
    1. Do you already have a JavaScript File uploaded within Canvas? Please contact LearnWise support via [email protected]
  2. Click ‘Save Theme”.

Now you have successfully added LearnWise to Canvas! Congratulations 🎉
